WHEN YOU LOSE EVERYTHING, WORDS BECOME EVERYTHING

I've been on the actual floor. Now I write from it. I never stopped writing through the housing loss, because the words were the one thing nobody could take.

I'm not writing from the other side. I had keys, and on August 31, 2026, I handed them back. I don't have a settled home. I'm still working, still writing, still in it. I won't tell you the light came before it did.

It's gone to the legal fight, the City records fee, and keeping a roof over my head while I keep working. I read every note. I'm not great at saying this out loud, so I'm writing it down. Thank you.
