Denmark DDEA PhD Scholarships 2025 Open
The Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) has officially opened the call for Industrial PhD Scholarships 2025, inviting ambitious candidates worldwide to apply for one of up to three prestigious 2/3-financed scholarships, each valued at 1,100,000 DKK.
These scholarships aim to support high-impact research in diabetes, metabolism, or endocrinology, offering a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge academic work while collaborating with life-science industry partners in Denmark.
DDEA Scholarship Benefits
Each awarded candidate will receive a scholarship that covers:
* DKK 1,100,000 (approx. €147,000 / $159,000) in funding
* Two (2) years of salary and tuition coverage during the three-year PhD period
* The remaining funding (1/3) is to be provided by the collaborating life-science industry partner
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
* Hold a Master’s degree from a Danish university or an equivalent recognized foreign degree by the time of application.
* Must not be enrolled in a PhD program by the notification date of 26 November 2025.
