Backstory

I was trying to find an image to use for the background for a church service which included a song about Jesus Christ as the cornerstone. I found an image of a cross brick as a cornerstone, but I wanted a whole background (not a vector image on a white background). I also wanted it to be darker so I could have lyrics on top of it and people could actually read the lyrics.

I tried to use AI to make a new image that was similar, but it could not for the “life” of it do that, no matter what prompts I put in. And I actually used “mirror magic” on Artistly so that it could create a prompt based off of the image I shared above. It couldn’t do it.

So I put pencil to paper and sketched what I wanted.

I used a different AI system to color it with a more brick look.

I didn’t like the top portion so just cut that off. Then I took it to Photoshop CS and/or GIMP to add some layers and finishing touches. I added overlays of colors and blended them down with other layers. I also took it to Photoscape X Pro and added grunge overlays and played with shading.

USE INFORMATION: These images are free to use for personal use, and I think nonprofits count (such as if you’re a church). I just can’t guarantee anything created with AI will allow for commercial use. So art on this site created with AI in any way will always be available for free (never behind a paywall).
