The Art of Getting Your Hair Done
Listen, I could talk for hours about my hair's story. Yes, my hair has a story. All people, but particularly Black women, can have tremendous horror stories about their hair from as early as we can remember. It was tough. Embracing and loving your hair in its natural state is important. It's also important to understand that if you decide to get weave or cut your hair that's fine too! Your hair is another way to express yourself. The idea of switching it up and being versatile is an exciting venture. Thankfully, I'm starting to get back like myself, in the sense of my self-care being done routinely as I'd like. That includes getting my hair done!

My sister will tell you I was against getting these! I was afraid of my forehead looking too big. It's crazy how something like that can really hold you back from trying something you actually like. Well, my stylist said "let her cook" and we both ate. Watch here!
