MULTIPLY the fraction by 100/1. Look for opportunities to cancel numerators and denominators.
to find 50% of a number make it half ( divided by 2)
to find 25% of a number make it half ( divided by 2) and again half
OR divided by 4
To find 10% of a given amount divide it by 10.
To find 5% of the given amount, you will get by dividing what 10% is by 2.
1% is easily found by dividing what 10% is by 10
