À propos Tanner Faris
Seeing how far two wheels can take us together
I am a teacher, dad, and ultra-endurance cycling sicko from Eugene, Oregon. On the bike, I strive to stretch the boundary of what is physically and mentally possible. I hold the fastest known time to ride the entire Oregon Coast Bike Route, and the second fastest of all time to ride from Canada to Mexico.
At home, I work along side my community parters to advocate for safe routes to school and work for cyclists and pedestrians in the greater Eugene-Springfield area. I am a huge fan of the individuals, businesses, and organizations in our community that get people on bikes and keeping them moving.
When I'm not pedaling, you can find me teaching math to 7th graders at Kelly Middle School, cheering on the Oregon Ducks, cooking tasty pizza, and spending time with my wonderful wife and little people.
If you enjoy following along with my adventures on the road, in the classroom, and at the grassroots level, consider supporting me or becoming a member of the sicko squad. Help me chase records and, push limits, and keep the wheels turning.
And visit my website for the latest in my questionable decisions and community outreach.
