I'm Melissa, also known as Skeet Fighter. I'm a Diné [Navajo] endurance roller skater who loves to drink tea 🍵, trail skate, skate on the roads that align with the mountains, trees, and any landscape that takes your breath away.
I’m working hard to make a difference through skating, storytelling, and raising awareness for causes that deeply matter. The Great Skate Tour was an incredible journey where I roller-skated across the country to shine a light on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) and advocate for healing, wellness, and justice. Every mile was a fight for awareness, resilience, and hope and now, I’m working on bringing that journey to life in a docuseries and a book!
Right now, I’m in the process of writing my book to share the behind-the-scenes of the tour, the challenges, the victories, and everything in between. But times are tough, and I could really use your help to keep moving forward. Your support will go toward continuing the docuseries, writing and publishing the book, and planning future skating events to keep spreading awareness.
Every cup of tea 🍵you contribute keeps this mission alive, helping me tell these important stories and advocate for change. Thank you for believing in what we’re doing. It means the world to me! 💜✨🛼❤️
