Been enjoying your photos on flickr. Actually came across your photos whilst hunting for the number or photo of the class 47 that worked the VSOE from Victoria to Southampton Docks on Friday 23rd August 1996, which I was driving. Seems you were at Eastleigh that day so you might have seen it. Anyway enjoy a coffee on me. Thanks. Joe
Thanks Joe, I'm glad you like my photos. For quite specific reasons I remember that trip to Eastleigh and I didn't see the VSOE that day, though I left the station for a while. This was in the days before online info, so things were easy to miss. I was working in Soton at the time and saw it fairly regularly, but rarely with a camera!
