Captain Jack Sparrow is a rescue pittie living in Oregon with his momma and big sis Jill. Captain Jack was born with spina bifida and is paralyzed in his rear but he’s never let this hold him back! He loves adventuring in his custom made wheelchair and being carried on his momma’s back. He utilizes many important tools daily to thrive and be the happiest ham. Captain Jack’s weekly expenses include diapering and medical supplies such as diaper cream, wipes, medical tape, athletic tape, toilet paper, diaper liners, belly bands and pants, wheelchair maintenance such as tires, stirrups, padding and flag hardware, laundry supplies such as allergy safe detergent and bleach, shoes and socks to get around and protect his feet, several important supplements such as fish oil, probiotic, hydration and electrolytes, mobility supplements, garments such as pajamas and shirts to protect his sensitive skin, as well as physical therapy appointments for him and his senior sister Jill! Jill is 13 and is a very healthy and active senior pup! She has IVDD - a disk disease in her spine that caused her to be paralyzed for several months back in 2018. She has since recovered but she does have some limits and requires some special supplements to help her thrive. All funds generated by this page go towards our necessary supplies for each dog mentioned above. These supplies help us live our best life!! We also take frequent road trips and hikes that require travel expenses, dog stay fees, parking pass fees etc. Adventures are a HUGE part of our life, experiencing new places and sniff and making memories is our favorite thing to do as a family of three.
