About Leah Spencer
Hi! My name is Leah and I am the local Macaroni KID publisher for both the Takoma Park-Silver Spring and Bethesda-Chevy Chase-Potomac sites. Each week, I spend hours searching the Montgomery County, MD community for family-friendly content to send to your inbox.
Wanna know a secret? I'm literally running Mac KID TPSS AND BCCP by myself. Yep, it's a one-woman operation!
I work hard to provide our community with local resources and guides at absolutely no expense to you - Mac KID is a FREE resource, as it should be!
But, as a busy mom to two young kids, I work hard to find the time to create guides, enter events, and add content to my site and socials, often early in the morning before the rest of the house is up.
Your donations of "coffees" help me stay awake updating Mac KID. They also help cover expenses I incur, like monthly license fees, out-of-pocket costs for events, and other expenses associated with my platform.
If you believe Macaroni KID Takoma Park-Silver Spring and Macaroni KID Bethesda-Chevy Chase-Potomac bring value to our community and provides a good resource for your family, this is one way to support me. Thank you!
