I’m Zakiya, the founder of Kalimah. My team of volunteers and I are working really hard to build this safe space for Muslimah writers. Whether in literature, the media, or academia, Muslim women often struggle to have their voices heard. We are working to change that. Support us on our mission to build Kalimah into a space for all Muslimah creatives, whether it’s through publishing anthologies & academic journals, our own news show, or even holding art exhibitions, our goal is to uplift and amplify the voices and talents of Muslim women everywhere!!
