I recently started a new project called “Inaka to the World.”

I currently run and develop an online platform where students can take 1-on-1 Japanese lessons with Japanese teachers. I also run an online community, and we now have around 50 teachers joining us. The number of students is also slowly growing.

But I want this platform to be more than just a place to study Japanese.

I believe that language and culture are deeply connected. To really communicate in Japanese, it is important to understand not only the language, but also the culture, values, and way of thinking behind it.

At the same time, I want people who love Japan to enjoy learning even more by discovering different parts of Japanese culture and meeting people from Japan.

That is why I want to create more opportunities for people around the world to connect with Japan in different ways.

We also have many people in our community who can share different parts of Japanese culture. We have teachers who teach swordsmanship, wagashi making, temple culture, and other traditional Japanese skills.

So, in addition to Japanese lessons, I would like to offer online cultural lectures and group events, where people around the world can learn directly from these teachers.

I am also starting to work with high school students and teachers in rural Japan.

I want to create more opportunities for students to plan their own projects, connect with people from other countries, and share what is special about Japan.

There are already many young people doing amazing things in rural Japan!

So, my goal is to build a platform that connects rural Japan with the world.

And in the future, I would also love to support some of these young Japanese people in experiencing, for example, short-term study abroad programs and other opportunities overseas.

We are already taking small steps toward this goal.

Starting this month, our platform will offer not only Japanese lessons, but also one online meetup every month. We are currently developing the platform to make this possible.
