I became a kindergarten teacher in the fall of 2000 and taught for ten years before having two children of my own, so when they were 5 and 3 we started going on little "field trips" out in our community to help them build confidence and character.
We did things like deliver cookies to firefighters, play games with neighbors at a nearby nursing home, and pick up litter at our local park.
After a while, our friends and family began asking if they could participate in our monthly activities too, so we started printing them up and mailing them out.
Within a year, we were sending "Good Mail" to over 500 families across the country!

In 2017, I started experiencing some health issues, however, and needed to stop so I could focus more on my faith and my family. I didn’t want to, of course, but one day in prayer I heard:
“You’re not a twenty year old rockstar…you’re a forty year old mother; your lifestyle is not sustainable. Get your house in order.”
As hard as it was to hear those words, I knew exactly what God was referring to: I was taking a variety of medications to tackle things like depression, anxiety, ADHD and acid reflux; consuming copious amounts of highly processed, conveniently packaged foods; and drinking alcohol on more occasions than I care to admit.
I was not healthy.
At all.
And I knew it.
As much as I enjoyed sending out Good Mail at that time, it was a source of stress and - sadly - something I also needed to eliminate from my life in order to save it.
-
I‘ve spent the last nine years healing physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually; strengthening my marriage; homeschooling my son through middle school; raising a teenage daughter; and providing end-of-life care for multiple aging parents...all while growing closer to God.
-
In May 2023, I was unexpectedly contacted by someone I had met several years prior - when I first started my journey with Good Mail.
She was working with a local family foundation to help their youngest generations develop a spirit of giving and asked if they could use the activities I’d created to assist with the task.
After our first planning session, I had a vision of the valley of dry bones described in Ezekiel 37 and felt as though God had just breathed life back into Good Mail.
When our work together was finished, I felt another prompting in prayer: this time it was to update the activities by adding space for Scripture...specifically, a Bible verse and brief teachings.

While I'm fully committed to investing my time and expertise as a mom and early childhood educator to this project, I cannot carry the financial load alone and need a little help getting through the initial "startup" phase.
If able to assist, your support would be used to help cover monthly hard costs associated with growing Good Mail’s mailing list organically once again, including:
1) Design fees incurred to include space for Scripture (approx. $300/month)
See the updated version I created for March 2026 here and April 2026 here.
2) Supplies needed to host events at the local library (approx. $50/month)
In March, I hosted two “Make Your Own Pinecone Bird Feeder” events and provided all the supplies, including kids' gloves and smocks, shortening, yarn, and bird seed.
Over 20 children attended and, to support families wanting to host their own events (at the library or homeschool co-op), I created this “How to Host an Event: Making Pinecone Bird Feeders” guide, and have plans to create similar opportunities for older children for all future adventures.
3) Website development and hosting (1x expense of $500; $65/month ongoing)
While Buy Me A Coffee is a wonderful platform that enables creators to request financial support, it is not designed to replace a traditional e-commerce website…especially if there is a physical product that needs to be shipped (because it does not export addresses into a CSV file, which is required for order fulfillment.)
That being said, I've already created a website...it just needs a little updating to help streamline the process of fulfilling orders.

Thank you for your consideration; I very much appreciate your support (and PRAYERS:)
Fondly,
Beth

HOW "BUY ME A COFFEE" WORKS:
Please note: I only plan to use this platform temporarily during the "startup" phase while waiting for Good Mail to become self-sustaining through the $10 monthly subscription fee. Until that goal is reached, BMAC enables me to receive support in a couple different ways:
1) ONE TIME SUPPORT: “Buy Me a Coffee" - This is not real coffee, but rather a friendly metaphor. Each "coffee” is valued at $10, and you can buy as many as you like.
For example, if you'd like to help cover the cost of supplies for a future library event, you could purchase 5 "coffees" for a total of $50, while purchasing 50 "coffees" would help me update my website ($500).
2) ONGOING SUPPORT: When purchasing a "coffee," you can click "Make this Monthly" to provide ongoing support.
Both of these options enable you to show your support WITHOUT getting Good Mail. If you'd like to receive fun & easy adventures delivered directly to your mailbox each month, I kindly ask that you subscribe to Good Mail at GoodMailAdventures.com.
-
Regardless of whether you support my work here - through BMAC; subscribe to Good Mail at GoodMailAdventures.com; help spread the word through Facebook; or simply say prayers Good Mail makes its way into many, many homes - I'm FOREVER grateful and look forward to watching Good Mail grow once again.
THANK YOU!!!
Fondly,
Beth Nowak
