I never cease to be inspired by your questions!
My question is can anyone own theoretical, religious or spiritual knowledge, thoughts, or beliefs and restrict them from other peoples or other “foreigners”?
Certainly not misinterpreting them and can give respect, appreciation and recognition to the sources from which they came. But inquiring and experiencing and understanding them from our own perspectives and philosophical or spiritual point of view ….in our own minds, bodies, hearts, cultures and time …. How do you turn that off? How can one say anyone may own a creative or spiritual process only ones groups intellectual property?

Wonderful!!!!
For me, the designation of little p and large P applies to the transitions that pre-ceded yoga being called yoga afterwards. looking at the traditions moving through the early Vedas, to the Upanisads, to the Gita, to Vedānta to Tantra and other between and after. As the texts include more doctrine on varnas, behavior, and consequences they function as a form of social regulation. There was not politically a separation of religion & the ruling hierarchies. …. it seems to be, to me, a little”p” at least ??
Thanks for another fascinating interview!
