I live in Ely, Minnesota — right on the edge of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. It's one of the most pristine wild places left in this country, and people in power are quietly trying to open it up to sulfide-ore copper mining. That's my backyard. That's my community. And most people have never even heard about it.

So I started paying attention. Then I started making videos.

I'm not a journalist. I'm not a politician. I'm a dad from the Midwest who believes people deserve to know what's actually happening, and a place to come to in order to take a breath when it's too much.
