Make Every Media is a cozy collective of artists, developers, and storytellers based in Austin, TX who specialize in Podcasting, Film, Virtual Conferences, Live Streaming, Music, Interactive, and AR / VR.
We launched this company in October of 2019 to support the production of new podcast series featuring fellow Texas storytellers, and started a patreon to support our first Podcast Hatchery. This was 3 days before a stay-at-home order was made in Austin, and we were forced to pivot to an entirely remote production team, and also suddenly the world was overrun with patreon pages :)
In 2021, despite the looming apocolypse, we expanded our programming into the Media Hatchery over on Twitch and YouTube, and here in 2022 we're pledging to keep it all threaded together with monthly episodes of the Make Every Media Podcast (MEMcast), and continued streams on MEM-TV.
Despite our growing audiences on these platforms, crowdfunding platforms like this are still looking like the best hope we have at making our programming sustainable long-term. At the moment, it's all coming out of our own pockets of time and limited resource. We'll certainly be pitching to a lot more sponsors, advertisers, and clients this year. But in the meantime, even a couple of bucks go a long way to helping us help as many folks as we can to get their media projects off the ground!
