About Klaus, DL1KJB
Ham radio experiments, measurements, and technical notes
Hello, I am Klaus, DL1KJB - an amateur radio enthusiast, family man, husband, and engineer.
My aim is to make amateur radio more visible through practical experiments, small measurements, technical notes, and short videos. I am especially interested in showing what today's amateur radio can do - from everyday radio operation to technical learning, hands-on projects, and emergency communication preparedness.
For me, amateur radio is more than a hobby. It is a way to learn, experiment, connect people, and keep practical communication skills alive. I want to share this in a calm, useful, and honest way - without hype and without putting the main results behind a paywall.
On this page, I share results, observations, and practical takeaways from my amateur radio activities. Public posts are meant to be useful on their own. Supporter-only content may include additional measurement data, setup photos, diagrams, instrument settings, downloadable files, and extended notes for those who want to reproduce or better understand the work.
Your support helps me spend more time on careful testing, documentation, and sharing independent amateur radio content. It also helps with small project costs, measurement accessories, parts, and keeping this work useful for others in the community.
If you enjoy practical ham radio content, independent measurements, or the idea of making amateur radio more visible and useful, feel free to follow along, write to me, or support my activities by buying me a coffee.
73,
Klaus, DL1KJB
