So I’ve been steadily keeping up my consistency. However, I still want to be honest with myself, as there are aspects I still need to work on. With content like this, I usually try not to bombard you with a multitude of posts filled with random, meaningless thoughts. Unless it’s something that’s really important.
After the last post, I canned that audio drama story I was working on. The narrative seemed to go in circles and would have been more effective as a book. But I’ll admit this whole thing with the blog and podcast has felt like a back and forth with Unfathomed and I Just Can’t Find The Right Words being thrown back and forth from written posts to podcast episodes, and I’m sorry for that.
Those episodes will now convert to the podcast, providing their text as transcripts, and the blog will feature web novels. After questioning it, I had a thought: I have a large quantity of written novels I’m looking for early draft feedback on. Which leads me to one story I’m working on now: A Trapped Feeling.
I feel confident enough about it to reveal the title. The idea I want to do is release it as a web novel, podcast, and book.
Why release the same story in three different platforms you ask well it won’t be, they will be all different stories but I don’t want to say too much but I will leave you with a short poem that gives off the vibes of it plus with a schedule of what’s coming in the next couple of months. My aim is to extend the length of these new story episodes. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I’m Trapped
-A simple mistake, that’s what it was supposed to be. Striding through these hallways, I can make out what they’re saying… their words are now more distinct. Even now, as I speak this, I feel the heat nudging my skin. What better way to feel trapped than in your own home? It’s not like the outside world had anything to offer me. Now it makes sense. Now the more that comes out of my mouth, the heavier my eyelids get. It’s closer now, hell, I don’t even know why I’m telling you this. Maybe I just got sick of talking to myself. These hallways feel as if they could stretch for miles. But they’re too dark to walk through. Fear is making my hands perspire, yet the drowsiness is calming. Let me gaze out the window… one… more… time.
