The Wait Is Tortuous

The Wait Is Tortuous

Nov 21, 2024

Waiting for the proof copy of your book to arrive is tortuous. It looks okay on the pdf file but you can bet that there will be something wrong with the print copy. Then, it's back to the drawing board, another £10 and another 6 weeks of waiting...So, fingers crossed I have everything right the first time around.

Even though I've written more content and it is definitely an upgrade from the first edition, I still don't feel that this copy is up to scratch. Of course, needing to add another 6 pages of content to make it viable for printing at 60 pages didn't help.

I remember needing to do that for Teddy and the HUGE carrot and I'm sure that it didn't really work very well for it! That book is still competing with Kevin the Carrot...

The latest addition to my shop here doesn't have very good photographs, I apologise. There is no light this morning. Will try again later and will also need to photograph and embellish the bird needle felted brooch I made a couple of weeks ago. I'm trying not to spend any more money on craft stock as I really need to reduce what I already have.

The trouble is I always find I never have what is necessary to complete makes. 'Sigh' This flat is so small and I'm already living out of boxes. I really don't need any more stock!

Anyways, I'm off to move a couple of wallpapers of OrigDawgie to his Kofi account rather than my Forest Fables shop at PayHip.
