🦋 A Personal Update, and a Heartfelt Thank You

Oct 19, 2026

imageHey there!

You have supported me, encouraged me, believed in me, or simply taken a moment to read something I’ve written: THANK YOU. From the bottom of my heart. 💜

I wanted to share a little update about how things are going and, more importantly, express how deeply grateful I am for each of you.

Life continues to be a complicated mixture of challenges, responsibilities, uncertainty, and small victories.

I’m still caring for my mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s disease. I’m still navigating my own disabilities, chronic pain, and the aftermath of nearly 30 surgeries. I’m also continuing the exhausting process of trying to obtain Social Security Disability benefits.

Some days are harder than others. Some days, simply getting through everything feels like an accomplishment.

imageBut I’m still here. Still writing. Still creating. Still fighting. And, most importantly, still refusing to give up.

Through my writing, graphic design, and creative projects, I’m working toward something I’ve wanted for a very long time: a sustainable, independent future where I can support myself doing work that I genuinely love.

My Substack publication, PERSPECTIVES: Dwight Munger III, , continues to grow, and I’m incredibly grateful for the wonderful people I’ve met along the way.

Your support through Buy Me a Coffee means more than you might ever realize.

Every contribution, regardless of the amount, helps me continue creating, maintain the tools and resources I need, and manage the everyday expenses that don’t disappear simply because life becomes difficult.

But it’s about more than money!

It’s about knowing that someone out there believes my work matters. That my voice has value. That the things I’ve survived don’t have to define the limits of what I can accomplish.

After everything life has thrown at me, that kind of encouragement is priceless.

I’m not looking for pity. I’m working toward possibility. I’m trying to build something meaningful out of a life that has been anything but easy.

If you’re able to contribute, share my work, or help spread the word, I would be tremendously grateful. And if you’ve already supported me, please know that your kindness has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

I may not have everything figured out, but I have determination, creativity, a stubborn streak a mile wide, and some truly wonderful people cheering me on.

And sometimes, that’s enough to keep moving forward.

Thank you for helping me turn survival into something more. Thank you for reminding me that kindness still exists. And thank you for being part of my journey.

With love, gratitude, and a whole lot of determination,

Dwight J. Munger,III, of Idaho
