Welcome to Diphda, a 34-foot wooden ketch that I’m sailing around Europe and, eventually, wherever the wind and questionable decision-making take us.

I sail her as a solo female sailor, picking up hitchhikers and wandering crew along the way. Between breakdowns, bad weather, unexpected detours and the general chaos of life aboard an old wooden boat, I write comedy about our adventures, mishaps and mischief.

Away from sailing, I’m also a mum in the middle of a long-running legal battle over my children, which has now been going on for around ten years. It’s a huge part of my life and one of the reasons I keep pushing forward.

I’m currently unemployed, so every penny genuinely counts. Any support goes towards keeping Diphda afloat, keeping the adventure going, and helping me continue fighting for and spending time with my children.
