Mini Portable MFT-Style Workbench – Fusion 360 Design File

The bench uses a lightweight torsion-box construction to create a rigid, flat work surface while keeping the overall weight low enough to carry and store easily.

18 mm plywood worktop

20 mm dog holes on a 96 mm MFT-style grid

Torsion-box frame construction

Side openings for clamping material directly to the bench

Openings that can also be used to clamp the bench to another work surface

Suitable for use with bench dogs, clamps and track-saw accessories

I made the parts using a CNC router, but a CNC is not essential. The Fusion model can also be used as a reference for building the bench with conventional woodworking tools.

You can also omit the 18 mm dog-hole top and use the 12 mm plywood skin as the work surface if you want an even lighter and simpler version.
