Last semester was.....whew....I'm glad it's done. Busy, to say the least. But now I've graduated and have been spending most of my time looking for a new job. I've also been trying to learn to 1) paint, 2) make fun things with polymer clay, and 3) keep some plants alive. I got a basil and a spearmint plants because they're supposed to repel wasps, which I need. And I got a catnip plant, which is also supposed to repel wasps, but might attract cats, which I would like. I'm not allowed to have a cat, but if they just show up and stay outside, who can be mad at that?
This morning, I decided to switch gears and work on some of my own projects for the first time in a while. So, I've added a couple posts to my website. Both pieces are finished homework from the last year. The first is a paper I wrote this Spring (but it feels like a long time ago) about 3 Supreme Court cases that involved the MLB's antitrust exemption. It's more interesting than it sounds when I put it like that, but I'll admit it is less interesting than watching a game of baseball. YMMV. The second is a long paper I wrote last Fall about Saloons in the Gila region of Southern New Mexico. That one is more fun. They're both on marionspragg.com for your reading pleasure.
I also got some trivia questions researched and written, but haven't yet published them. I'll do that soon(ish). Right now, I have to find a job! If anyone is hiring in Columbus, GA or the surrounding areas, please LMK.
