I no longer worry that Dreamer might not load in the trailer! That has been a worry and stress point for over a year. Working daily to help her overcome her trauma, getting stranded when she would not load, anxiety about being without Scout and needing to load her alone. It was a lot. I still wonder if she would load after trailering to a day ride. I have not tried that yet. I will try when the time is right and the consequences are low.
Right mow I am on the western side of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I traveled without Scout for the first time. We are sitting in 6 fenced acres, a friends property. The truck is getting services, the ponies are living like wild horses, the dogs have lots of freedom and I am spending some time doing nothing...for the first time since December.
