Power Pole the World!
I am a big fan of using power poles. The make life just a little bit better.
All my radio gear has power poles on them. I just wish the radio manufacturers would have them on their products. I'm sure there is a host of logistic reasons why they haven't yet. Supply chain, toolings, IP issues, etc, etc.
Hopefully someday soon they start.
Until then, this is the next best thing.
So far I have been impressed with my purchase. Quality, shipping time, price. All good.
What comes with the kit.
Hardest part of the install (for me) was getting the factory connector out. Ended up breaking off the snap features holding it in place.
The kit from Jason Wang that comes assembled is practically a perfect fit. Very happy with the form and fit.
Once installed, the kit almost looks factory.
It is apparent that Jason put a lot of work and thought into his design. If you have a FT-891 and would like a stream line Power Pole connection, please order one from him.
