Mattermost Christmas Magic

Christmas Magic adds festive, lightweight animations to your Mattermost chat. Your team keeps working as normal: nothing ever blocks typing, clicking or scrolling.

🎁 WHAT'S INCLUDED

❄️ Falling snowflakes in icy colours and sizes

🦌 Santa's sleigh with reindeer (and a glowing red nose!) flying across the screen

🔔 "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!" with sleigh bells and Jingle Bells (each user can mute it)

🎁 Gifts Santa drops onto the message box. Click one for a fun surprise message ("You've been promoted!… just kidding 😄"). The messages are fully editable by the admin.

⛄ A snowman that walks along the message box (click him and watch what happens!)

🎄 A rotating 3D Christmas tree. Users type /christmas and the wish appears in a bubble for everyone to see.

🛠️ Admin control: switch every effect on or off, set start/end dates, view and moderate all wishes in the System Console

🙋 Every user gets their own on/off switch in the header, and reduced-motion settings are respected

📦 REQUIREMENTS

• Self-hosted Mattermost 10.0 or newer (Linux amd64 / arm64)

• Plugin uploads enabled (System Console → Plugins → Plugin Management)

• Works in web browsers and the Mattermost desktop app (mobile apps don't run web plugins)

• Server needs internet access to verify the license

One license key = one Mattermost server. After purchase you'll receive your key (MMXMAS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).

⚙️ INSTALL IN 2 MINUTES

1. System Console → Plugins → Plugin Management → Upload Plugin → choose the .tar.gz file

2. Open the plugin's settings and paste your license key → Save

3. Enable the plugin. Merry Christmas! 🎄
