The Dhakaani Empire, or the Empire of Dhakaan, was a mighty goblinoid nation that dominated most of Khorvaire over a period extending from around 15,000 to 5000 years ago.
There are few Dhakaani clans that preserved the traditions of the empire to the modern age.
In the death throes of their mighty empire, most scattered and hid or died fighting, while one innovative slave concocted a plan. In the disarray, this young slave hid and stole secrets, a stockpile of secrets, with plans to keep the Dhakaani Empire alive. For years he collected, hid, and gathered some more until the day his body started to splinter and crunch. Knowing his ability to seek out relics of the empire would come to an end…he used his occult understanding to make a deal. A contract of extraplanar origin, fueled by the territorial temperament forged from the weight of Dhakaani secrets.
