I was commissioned by my fellow Inkie James to do a 15” Kenma doll from Haikyuu!! with a removable neko hat!
I always feel very flattered every time people hire me to make amigurumi for special purposes and this time for a birthday gift!
Because I'm still very new to this craft, I miscalculated the working days and effort that it will take to complete this doll. I've had weeks with less hours of sleep and sometimes even without it as consequence! I remember reworking some parts from the beginning so I can change yarn colors or get the proportions right. 
I pulled an all-nighter stitching and glueing important details of the doll right before I shipped it over to James's the following morning. 
I was nearly out of energy by the time I took these photos so I forgot to show the hat's back in the setup! Luckily, I realized it just before the courier arrived.
It was an incredible feeling to be able to complete this Kenma doll as a fan of the anime myself! And most importantly to once again be entrusted to produce a special make. I really wish James’s friend liked it ♡
