MAN(male & female of the species)/KIND by Page

I bought a book titled "Old Time Religion" by Jordan Maxwell during my first year of high school.

Once upon a time, there was humankind, both male and female. The immediate concern as natural, organic (carbon-based) beings stemmed from nature's lessons about mortality, which they observed through its flora and fauna. This awareness was rooted in the cycle of life.

You may have seen an image or sculpture of the three monkeys covering their faces with their hands: "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." However, there is a fourth monkey that is often overlooked. This monkey looks up toward the heavens.

Everything we see is a reflection of light, and the Sun plays a crucial role in many aspects of our lives. It provides light and warmth and is essential for all life on Earth. The Sun governs the day, while the moon and stars serve as the lesser sources of light during the night.

I can imagine primal man giving these celestial bodies significant importance and, over time, personifying and deifying them.

One quickly becomes God-fearing when they realize that the letters in "GOD" can stand for "Generate," "Operate," and "Dissolution." While death is often viewed as the great equalizer, the living are profoundly affected by their thoughts and emotions. The unknown has a way of igniting our deepest fears, and when it comes to what lies beyond death, it presents an ultimate mystery that leaves us both curious and uneasy.

Since ancient times, humanity has looked up at the heavens, learning to honor the Sun, the Moon, and the Stars. In this context, the Sun represents Religion, the Moon represents Law, and the Stars represent Story, a concept known as Astro-Theology.

Is it written in the stars? Have you heard of Astro-Theology?

Long before the discovery of fire, there was sunlight, moonlight, and starlight. In Greek mythology, Prometheus defied the gods by bringing fire to humanity, and as a result, he was punished for his actions.

According to the Bible, the first blacksmith was Tubal-Cain. His siblings were responsible for music, art, makeup, and jewelry, and they are descendants of Cain, from the story of Cain and Abel.

Cain's descendants possessed a wealth of knowledge; they were skilled in information technology. I suspect that Cain's bloodline survived the flood, perhaps through a spouse of one of Noah's sons. Was ancient knowledge sought after the flood by Cain's descendants? Could they be the ones running the world today? The occult, or hidden knowledge, forms the foundation of all mystery religions.

Speech and signs were the primary modes of communication. Later, symbols emerged, such as hieroglyphics in Egypt, pictographic writing in China, and cuneiform in ancient Sumeria. All that we know has been defined by letters and numbers. The Trivium and the Quadrivium compose the 7 Liberal Arts. With advancements in technology, like the Gothenburg Press, the dissemination of knowledge became widespread.

Some recognized that power could be obtained by withholding certain information from the general public. In this context, the knowledge of the occult can provide an advantage over others. A predatory mindset that preys on the uninformed is a tale as old as time.

Why do the days of the week add up to seven? Why are they named after celestial bodies?

We have received Natural Law from the ancient Egyptians and Greeks. The seven principles are immutable and binding; they are not man-made.

"The Principles of Truth are Seven; he who knows these, understandingly, possesses the Magic Key before whose touch all the Doors of the Temple fly open." — The Kybalion.

The Seven Hermetic Principles, upon which the entire Hermetic Philosophy is based, are as follows:

1. THE PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM. ("THE ALL is MIND; The Universe is Mental." — The Kybalion.)

2. THE PRINCIPLE OF CORRESPONDENCE. ("As above, so below; as below so above." — The Kybalion.)

3. THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION. ("Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates." — The Kybalion.)

4. THE PRINCIPLE OF POLARITY. ("Everything is Dual; everything has poles; everything has its pair of opposites; like and unlike are the same; opposites are identical in nature but different in degree; extremes meet; all truths are but half-truths; all paradoxes may be reconciled." — The Kybalion.)

5. THE PRINCIPLE OF RHYTHM. ("Everything flows, out and in; everything has its tides; all things rise and fall; the pendulum-swing manifests in everything; the measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; rhythm compensates." — The Kybalion. )

6. THE PRINCIPLE OF CAUSE AND EFFECT. ("Every Cause has its Effect; every Effect has its Cause; everything happens according to Law; Chance is but a name for Law not recognized; there are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the Law." — The Kybalion.)

7. THE PRINCIPLE OF GENDER. ("Gender is in everything; everything has its Masculine and Feminine Principles. Gender manifests on all planes." — The Kybalion.)

Note: Mark Passio claims that there is an 8th and hidden principle to CARE.

Dr. E. Michael Jones states that three transcendentals allow individuals to experience the Most High (God): Ethos (goodness), Logos (truth), and Pathos (beauty).

My dad once told me that one day, people will need to put away many books and learn how to learn all over again. I used to think that "today" was the day for us to enjoy and be glad in it.
