Can you see The Willow Bridge of Calm in these pictures? I am looking at it from atop a different bridge - resting between the trees - serene and perfectly at peace with its surroundings. Lovely to see how it blends into the landscape so naturally that you could almost miss it if you weren’t really looking.
I can't help but be reminded of how it makes me feel when standing on it. To pause, to breathe, to look out over the water. This feeling makes this view feel even more special. It’s like watching a memory take shape in real life. It does not need to be crossed, but just to be looked at and admired. Taking your time. It brings me a different sense of ease to not be crossing it but just being able to look at it from afar. Beautiful, and so very peaceful, these little moments life has to offer.
