Stand With Ukraine Wallpaper
A little story:
This is a picture I slapped together in the first weeks of the war when my friend asked me to make something (anything vaguely Ukrainian) that she could use for a fundraiser to support our fighters. Back then I was staying with my parents in case the situation turns really bad, and I had to run back to my apartment to make this picture because I had no art supplies on me. It was the first time I went farther than the grocery store, and it was the first time I saw my city changed: with block posts, reinforcements, empty streets, and armed military men all over the place.
I made this picture during an air raid under the sound of sirens. I heard a plane fly over my house, I heard an explosion pretty far away. Later I learned that a Russian plane had launched a rocket into a nearby lake. He either missed, or missed on purpose, or something else happened, I don't know until that day. But that's the story of this picture.
I made this very quickly, it's full of imperfections, but I like it that way. I also like how I went with a bee without really thinking about it. It was the first idea that came to my mind as I was running home that day. But we ARE like bees. All we want is to peacefully buzz around, doing our thing, collecting nectar, but rest assured we'll sting you if you try to mess with our home and hurt us.
I edited the picture a little to turn it into several wallpapers and I would like to offer it to those who want to support me during this time (Not going to lie, my savings are running low and I don't have a ton of work right now).
By buying this item you will get:
- a PC wallpaper
- a phone wallpaper
- two types of digital postcards
Thank you for your support, and most of all - thank you for hearing my story.
Light will prevail over darkness and life will prevail over death. Glory to Ukraine.
