I was supposed to attend a second photography meetup (this time focused on photography), but unfortunately it was canceled due to low attendance. So it gave me more time to focus (pun intended) on my bird photography.
This was my second visit to this wonderful park. This park is located near Saguaro National Park - East. There are I believe 4 ponds (a main large pond and three smaller ponds.) There is abundance of birds here and since I'm trying to get out more for photography I met my new friend Mary at this park for some more bird photography. Mary is also likes to travel and take photos and is quite knowledgeable about birds. So we spent about 2 hours walking around the park and to my amazement saw completely different birds than I'd seen on my first trip. It was helpful and fun having Mary to identify the birds and chat about future travel plans. Next out is to find Burrowing Owls. I believe there are some around the Tucson area so will be on the hunt.
Birds - House Finch, Western Bluebird, Ring-necked Duck, Pied-billed Grebe, Phainopepla and I believe a Rock Wren.
