Months of cloud cover, an odd pattern of Aurora dancing on repeat for the Eastern Hemisphere, and a long winter made the last season of chasing a slog. I think what our group missed most was that sense of community. And now, we are reunited!
Devoted Aurora Chasers never stopped trying to catch the lights, but with the new MI Aurora Experience, our members are making memories they can share again! I’m so thrilled. We’ve now held two MI Aurora Experiences, two weeks in a row. The first one fit well into my schedule, and the second one came at a gorgeous time of year. And bonus, together we caught the Aurora!! 💥🌎☄️🥳
In the Michigan Aurora Chasers, I feel like I can shout to the heavens, “We’re back!”
It was being with you for these guided chases that truly made them special. Thank you. Thanks for being part of a wonderful community. And thanks for sending a cup of coffee. A little goes a long way to offset our travel and lodging costs, and I truly appreciate it.
I’m launching into a summer of free public programs, but I’m also going to get with the team, and try to announce another guided chase VERY SOON!
