I'm not telling you anything new when I say that making a living from your art is very difficult, especially in these times.
Since generative AI arrived on the market, my clients have become scarce, and finding new freelance gigs is more difficult than ever. It's hard to stomach, but I love drawing too much to give up my artistic career yet.
The Jayvik AU comic is a way for me to forget all this pressure and shut myself away in a bubble of positivity and happiness. You have brought me a lot of comfort, and now a little financial support that makes my work easier.
The last donations have allowed me to buy a new ergonomic mouse! The one I had before had issues; the left click was lagging, and the whole mouse would intermittently stop working... So I bought a new one; it's a CHERRY MW 4500, and it's amazing for my wrist pain (and it works perfectly ✨)
And yeah, I'm telling you folks what I'm buying with the coffees because I think it's always good to know where your money goes.
Right now I'm trying to save up for a brand new PC. The one I have now is old af and I really could use some better specs. I already have some personal savings, but any help is welcome. And yes, your tips are a great help! I hope to be able to take care of it next year...
