Why change?

Why change?

Apr 09, 2025

Yesterday I mentioned to a friend that I was leaving a world I’d been enjoying for the last year. She was curious about my decision and as I know it’s a fair chance others will ask me too, I’ve put down some thoughts on this new step.

Exploring creativity in the digital realm has been a relatively new adventure for me. Although I was an early adopter of Twitter, I was an information junkie: fascinated in the light speed transformation our world was undergoing as a result of waves of new social media.

After a few adventures I discovered NFT art (and of course crypto) in recent years. Fun times were had. Somehow though, this year I’ve had an overwhelming sense that the world was about to change, and change strongly. I think we are seeing the start of that now on geopolitical levels.

My choice now, is to go more slowly and mindfully. To stay connected to the world, the changes, and also my Art. But to bring it back to a more human connected level. Because when things get bumpy we are going to need to be there for each other. This is the platform I’ve chosen to do this on. It ticks the boxes of what I’m looking for - simplicity, reciprocally sharing of goods or services and the potential for. inspiration.

Above all: this growth and understanding is reflected in my nature journey and work. Shared here. Please help yourself to some art.image
