Hello again!
It's been almost two years since I completed Victoria Stilwell Academy, a major milestone in my journey as a positive dog trainer. The skills and knowledge I've gained in behavior modification and positive reinforcement continue to shape how I work with dogs and their guardians every day.
As I advanced in the dog training world, I still felt like there was an important piece missing in what I envisioned for my career. I have always been fascinated by the connection between emotional and physical health, and when I initially joined the animal care field, it was because I wanted to become a veterinarian. I realized that I still do.
In September, I applied to veterinary school, and am eagerly/anxiously awaiting my admission decision. While I wait, I'm also in school full-time and wrapping up my fall semester. This winter, I will be focusing on dog training and behavior consultations, as well as diving into a new venture with pet business coaching.
