Self-acceptance is the result of a process in following steps:
1. activating memories - visiting old painful places
2. compassion
3. understanding - adding psychological knowledge and life experience,
4. compassion
5. reframing - looking with "new eyes",
6. get aware of changes in your body
7. willingness to let go of old judgments and illusions
These steps have to be done only in this order - don't start with understanding before compassion.
