I am proud to announce that, together with a group of colleagues, I have begun work on a documentary film titled The Angel of Artsakh. The film is dedicated to the historical, cultural, Christian, and civilizational heritage of Nagorno-Karabakh, the eastern province of our Homeland.
At its core lies the 2012 pilgrimage to Artsakh by the world-renowned Spanish opera singer Montserrat Caballé, contrasted with the genocidal deportation of Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh in 2023.
Despite the significance of this project, both state institutions and several private entities have declined to support it for political reasons. Հպարտությամբ հայտնում եմ, որ մի խումբ ըմկերներով սկսվել ենք «Արցախի հրեշտակը» (նախնական անվանումով) վավերագրական ֆիլմի աշխատանքները։ Այն նվիրված է մեր Հայրենիքը արեւելյան նահանգի պատմական, մշակութային, քրիստոնեական ու քաղաքակրթական ժառանւությանը։ Ֆիլմի առանցքում՝ աշխարհահռչակ իսպանական օպերային երգչուհի Մոնսերատ Կաբալյեյի 2012 թ. Արցախ կատարած ուխտագնացությունն է եւ 2023 թ.
