Nora Stephen’s is a literary agent based in New York City and she seeks out one of the best editors in the field, Charlie Lastra to promote one of her authors books about a place called Sunshine Falls.
Unbeknownst to her, the book is set in a town he grew up in and he disregards its contents on the basis that it was ‘fiction’. This sparks an enmity between the two.
The book unfolds into an exploration of self by Nora as she navigates the complexity of her relationship with the sister and the mother’s loss. Amidst their discovery of Sunshine falls, Nora bumps into Charlie and she becomes undone.

Reading Emily Henry’s book definitely brought back the nostalgia of why I love to read 🥹.
Her descriptive writing played with my emotions and I got infused into the relationship between Libby, Nora and Charlie and their vacation in Sunshine Falls.
If you love romance novels that are not as graphic but more subtle with the feelings and growing intensity between two characters, this is your read. You’ll definitely get lost in it and I would do anything to read this book again for the first time!
