Online Writing Classes - May/June Season

Online Writing Classes - May/June Season

May 15, 2024

Welcome to this season of donation-based online writing classes for every woman.

This season we have a mix of classes where we focus on writing for 30-40 minutes and new Q&A Sessions where you can ask questions and get support for your writing.

You don't have to feel like "a writer" to join us. These classes are like a women's circle with dedicated journaling time. Come simply to put your thoughts and feelings on paper. Bring your journal, your laptop, your vintage typewriter, whatever you prefer to write with. All and any writing is welcome.

This is time for you to spend listening to yourself. Write in a space held for you because your thoughts, your experiences, your stories matter. Write in a space where you can get help and support whenever you’re stuck or your inner critic gets too loud. Write in a space that takes the pressure off and expands your creativity.

I’m your host, writer & editor Kerryn Trisha.

I have been writing stories since I learned how to form letters. I made my first book in school at 10 years old where I bonded with my best friend over how to write an ampersand (&).

I have a diploma in creative writing, wrote fiction for seven years, have written 50,000 words in 30 days during multiple NaNoWriMo events (National Novel Writing Month), and founded one of the first online writing communities in New Zealand.

During my time as a business analyst and project manager across government, banking, and travel industries I’ve written business processes, procedures, policies, and software requirements galore.

I started my first blog in 2005 and have been writing on the internet ever since. That’ll be 20 years of content writing across blogs, websites, sales pages, email marketing, and social media next year in 2025.

I have edited five books including a memoir self-leadership book Soulpreneur by Rose Tautari, the first three books in the erotic romance series Nocturnal Hearts by Elliott Rose, and the upcoming memoir of healing from sexual abuse, The Blooming Wound by Francesca Satta.

And I’ve been writing morning pages (stream of consciousness journaling) for self-awareness, personal growth, self-exploration, and straight up sanity for over 15 years. This continues to be a go-to tool for me to break down my limiting beliefs, unpack my emotions, and gain perspective on my life so I can choose the experience I want to live.

I live in Wellington, New Zealand with my two kids, husband of 20+ years, and our black cat, Flash.
