Dear Friends,
As 2024 comes to an end, I want to take a moment to thank you and reflect on the incredible things we achieved together this year. I feel incredibly fortunate to write to you, knowing that so much good has come from our shared efforts.
On December 15, 2024, I organized a charity event called “Mini Miss Kiyanotchka of Ukraine” at the Children’s Creativity Center in Pechersk, Kyiv. This event welcomed many children affected by the war—those who fled from occupied territories and, heartbreakingly, those who lost their parents. For this celebration alone, we purchased gifts for around 141 children. As I’ve mentioned before, much of this was funded personally, but I’m deeply grateful to everyone who contributed, even with small donations. Your support truly made a difference.
Additionally, we raised funds for the treatment and rehabilitation of a soldier who lost a leg during combat. I am happy to share that all the funds were transferred, and as far as I know, he is now feeling much better and preparing to use his new prosthetic leg.
We also hosted a celebration at Bohuslav Lyceum #1, where we gifted presents to children from occupied territories and those who achieved outstanding academic results. One story that stands out is Sofia Haman, a student at Bohuslav Lyceum #1, who was accepted into KPI (Kyiv Polytechnic Institute). Her family could not afford a laptop, so we gifted her a brand-new Acer Nitro 5. This gift will help her pursue her education and dreams.
All of this was possible because of you. Your kindness and support helped make these moments of joy and hope a reality.
Regardless of where life takes me, I hope you continue to care for those around you, support each other, and remember those who need our help the most. During the holidays, think about the people whose lives you can touch—you might be the force that changes everything for them. And never forget to do good in the world; it always finds its way back to you.
With love and gratitude,
Kateryna
