Output Reneges on Owed Signup and Referral Bonuses!
If you signed up and/or referred Output Arcade's $30 signup and $30 referral bonus promotion, you may know that Output abruptly suspended the program on 9/6. I contacted Output to inquire whether bonuses would be honored for those who signed up but were still in the 1-week trial period and pay the $12.99 subscription fee when the trial ends (required to trigger the bonuses). Diego from Output informed me that bonuses would be honored for successful referrals and told me I had ten pending referrals.
By 9/13, two of my referrals had reached out to me. One informed me she'd paid her subscription fee and received her signup bonus, which I realized I never received a referral bonus for. My other referee had signed up through me and paid the fee but, two days later, still hadn't received a signup bonus (and I never received a referral bonus).
I reached out to Output again. This time, Leor Manelis replied with a slew of baseless allegations as he told me that I fraudulently promoted Output's bonus promotion and that neither I nor my referees would be receiving bonuses. These unfounded accusations include:
That I used a VPN (I didn't).
That I never downloaded Arcade (I did, and supplied proof in my reply)
That I referred 40 people, which exceeded their 30-referral cap (a referral cap is not included in their terms, but even if it was, I was told by Diego that I referred 15-16 people, not 40). Making matters even more confusing is that the promotion was 20 max referrals, not 30 as Leor claimed.
That I wasn't allowed to refer on Facebook (their referral terms stated that promoting on social media was allowed)
That I received six bonuses and should be grateful.
In Leor's first 8/13 reply to me, he stated I could get my $12.99 fee refunded if I'd like. I replied and made it clear I was refusing a refund and asked he honor our agreement and pay me any and all referral bonuses. Leor disregarded my reply and refunded the fee. He also sent me a "how did we do" feedback request. I left feedback based on my experience, which he apparently took offense to.
Today, I replied asking Leor for proof of a single one of his claims. I also supplied screenshots disproving said claims. Despite this, Leor has fallen back on what he appears to translate as, "we can do whatever we want whenever we want, breach of contract be damned."
If you signed up through me or another referrer and paid the $12.99 fee but didn't receive your signup bonus - and/or referral bonuses if you also referred Output Arcade - please fill out this brief form containing resources for possible next steps.

MoneyLion rebooted its "Referral Rush" promotion this morning, offering $10 signup and referral bonuses. This is double the normal offering of $5. Grifin, a robo-investment app that's been wildly popular in Referral World since February with their frequent $30 referral bonus promotions, emailed members last month. In the email - also available here - Grifin informed us that beginning 9/25/24, they'll be charging a $5 monthly fee. Action Network's 72-Hour TO-DO Requirement to Get Paid!

Action Network has made a lot of waves over the past couple of weeks, first with their viral $10 bonus promotion that was supposed to be paid to Venmo in 7 days (or less). Next, when it turned out they hadn't paid anyone, and removed the referral promotion and tracking from their app. Today, the company made two announcements: one on Discord, and the other via an email sent out to members, giving us 72 hours to submit how we want to be paid (by Venmo or virtual debit card).

Here is the email they sent a few hours ago - check your SPAM folder - informing us that we need to fill out their brief form within 72 hours to let them know if we'd like to be paid by Venmo or prepaid debit card. They state that the prepaid debit card method will be quicker:

Catch is an app seen in Referral 1-2 weeks ago with a waitlist promotion. They're apparently out of waitlist status now and, based on posts in Referral World, are offering $10 instant signup bonuses and $5 referral bonuses. You get a virtual card that you can use to connect to Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.
I signed up today and am waiting for my virtual card to be approved. I'm admittedly confused because when clicking the referral link, it says I'll be getting "an extra $15 credit on my first purchase". I don't see a mention of $10 bonuses, though I see proof from a handful of referrers I trust who received the $10 bonuses. I also don't know if that "Extra $15" means I would be getting $15 or $20 (including the standard $5 signup bonus).
$5 referral bonuses are earned for each person who spends $20+ on their first purchase using the Catch virtual card.

No Pay Received, Seemingly More Stall Tactics from SDAI!

If you have been keeping up on my SDAI News/Updates post, you likely already know that SDAI claims to have mailed checks on 9/3 to those of us who provided our mailing addresses by the 8/30 deadline. It's now 9/10, and I couldn't locate anyone who's been paid. Meanwhile, Fundwise Co-CEO - and many believe SDAI Co-Founder - Corey Snow has been posting SDAI updates discussing how checks will go out soon for folks who haven't yet submitted their mailing info (once they provide it). SDAI has also been talking about an upcoming pivot to being an API service instead of a standalone product.
That's all well and good, but WHERE IS OUR MONEY?
One suspicion starting to circulate is that SDAI may have chosen to concoct the whole referral promotion in an effort inflate their membership numbers as they pitch their product API service to buyers. Others have argued that the entire thing is a scam devised to obtain our personal bank and mailing information. While I can't speak to either of those being the case, I will say that there are many unanswered questions from a company few know ANYTHING about.
