The Silent Struggles of a Referral Marketer (Continued)!

On 6/24, Facebook abruptly removed hundreds—possibly thousands—of active, legitimate groups without warning or clear reason. One of my groups, Easy Paying Referral Apps, was among them. I created a replacement, only to see it shut down within 30 minutes. This wasn’t an isolated incident—group takedowns were reported globally across topics like mental health, parenting, travel, scam awareness, and referral marketing. Thankfully, Facebook acknowledged the issue and restored many affected groups later in the day.
During the shutdown, trolls surfaced claiming they had reported certain referral groups out of spite, either because they dislike the admins/mods or were upset about being banned for posting scams. Some even celebrated the removals, proudly taking credit online. It was toxic and infuriating.
Thankfully, by the evening, Facebook restored both of my groups. We took the opportunity to rename the new one as Easy Paying Referral Apps 2—and I recommend joining both if you’re looking to learn about current sign-up bonuses, find legit referrals, and share your own:
