Monzo Lowers Bonuses from $15 to 5% Cashback!
There is sad news today if you refer Monzo or were thinking about signing up. For quite some time, Monzo has offered instant $15 signup and referral bonuses. Referrers were shocked to find this week that they no longer have this promotion but instead have the new, "5% cashback bonus" promotion. From the looks of it, it now enables you to get up to $25 if you (or your referral) spends $500 within 30 days. While some folks who take advantage of this offer may appreciate the extra $5 in the end, this isn't very reassuring for most since the prior promotion only required spending $5 to earn the instant $15.
Monzo is notorious for shutting down folks' ability to refer without cause and denying them owed bonuses. I haven't referred Monzo since February 2024 after they pulled this on me. This appears to be so common that there's a dedicated Facebook group named "Monzo Stole Our Money," with over 21,000 members.

3/18 update: I confirmed this pays and have already received one $3 referral bonus!
A brand new app/promo just hit Referral World this evening called ZOZOFIT. It is a free app that offers 3D body scanning, food logging, activity tracking, and more.
To get in on this, just sign up from your iOS device and do a free body scan (it was easy and only took me 1-2 minutes in total). There's no signup bonus, but once you've done this, you get your own referral link to refer others and earn a $3 bonus for each person you refer. The bonuses are sent to your email as Amazon gift cards, and you can refer up to 100 people per month, which means a potential of $300/month in earnings!
Since I just signed up, I'm considering this TESTING and will provide an update once I can confirm the app pays and how quickly it pays. More info here.

Xfinity's New $50-500 Bonus Promotion [Worldwide?]!

After a several-month-long hiatus, Comcast Xfinity has a new signup and referral bonus promotion! - You'll get a $50 signup bonus when you sign up for a new Xfinity Internet account and/or $50 per line (up to $250) when you add 1-5 lines to your new Xfinity Mobile account. In addition to the possible $300 in signup bonuses, you can earn up to $500 in referral bonuses per calendar year ($50 for each referral and up to 10 referrals max). More info here.

Get your $50 Signup Bonus from Fundrise [US]!
Have you signed up for Fundrise yet? If not, it's the perfect time to. Using my link, you can earn a $50 signup bonus (2X the standard $25 bonus) when you deposit $10. Hopper just started a new promotion on top of their existing stackable promos: Earn up to $300 towards hotels as you refer others. This breaks down to:
Refer 5, earn $50
Refer 10, earn $150
Refer 15, earn $300
According to the promo in the app, your referrals only need to sign up using your link in order to count for this promotion. I verified this as I received two referral bonuses this week from folks who booked their first hotel, but 4 referrals towards this promo (two of my referees signed up but haven't booked a hotel stay yet).
Besides this promo, you get your choice of either $25 instant off your first hotel booking (link) or 10% instant off your first hotel booking. And you'll get your own referral code which earns you the same instantly for your first 20 referrals. And once you've referred 20 others, each additional referral gets you a $50 "carrot cash" bonus that can be used not only for hotels, but airfair, rental cars, and other forms of travel offered in the app. Note that these $50 bonuses require your signups to book their first stay before you receive the bonuses, while the $25 hotel bonuses are instant and only require your referees to sign up.
The best thing about Hopper is that these bonuses stack, which no other hotel/travel app offers. This means that just by signing up and referring a few others, you can get your hotel stays and/or travel for nearly free or even entirely free! A new bank bonus promotion that few know about hit Referral World last week. I quickly jumped on the opportunity and waited to promote it until I could verify that it pays out. I'm happy to report that in just over a week, I've been paid!
Ally Bank is offering a $100 welcome bonus when you sign up for a Spending (checking) or Savings Account. Triggering the bonus is quicker when opening a Spending Account as you only need to make a single qualifying deposit, and as far as I'm aware, there's no minimum deposit requirement. The deposit can be a direct deposit from an employer, or a push transfer from Current, Found, or Wise (other banks may work as well, YMMV). You can opt for a Savings account instead if you'd like, though that option requires three monthly recurring deposits of $1 or more.
I chose the Spending Account option. I signed up on 3/5, deposited $25 on 3/6 and received my $100 welcome bonus last night (3/13)! The email Ally Bank sent me this morning to let me know I received $100 also included my referral link.

Travel Rewards Credits Have Been a Life-Saver!
This week, I've been squaring away travel plans for my mom's Celebration of Life in July. I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has used my referral links and signed up through me. Sling Lowers Bonuses to $5, Still No Referral Bonuses!

Sling Money, an app similar to Cash App, hit Referral World last month offering a $10 signup bonus. This week, Sling lowered the bonus from $10 to $5. And despite there being a "Refer a Friend" code, Sling doesn't offer referral bonuses. In February, they instead ran a referral contest where they split $300 among the top five referrers. Sling hasn't announced whether they'll be holding a similar contest this month, and it's also unclear whether they track referrals from the entire month, or only once they start the contest.
