I bought a new lens. Again. Yeah... an expensive one this time. 😱
But I just felt like I needed it. It was the last piece to complete my little camera kit, at least for the time being. I’ve been thinking about replacing my kit lens for a while, and in the end I decided to just go for it.
I bought the Tamron 17–70mm f/2.8 to replace my kit lens. And oh boy, did it replace it! The images are so much sharper now than before. I’m comparing it to the kit lens here, not the other lens I own, the 55–210mm. That one also produces really sharp images.
So now I have two lenses that cover everything from 17mm to 210mm. It would be even more perfect if there were a 17–500mm f/2.8 lens. Keep dreaming, I guess. Haha. 🥲
Honestly though, having two lenses is more than enough for me. They cover pretty much everything I enjoy photographing, and they’re not too much to carry around when I’m out walking.....
