The world doesn’t stop turning just because something has happened to you. I learned that when my parents passed away and while I wanted the world to stop and wait for me, it went on without me. I saw people laughing and enjoying moments of life and I thought to myself, “Time never stops for anyone, does it?”
No, it doesn’t. It keeps turning because if it does, the pause also makes the universe lose purpose.
As does you.
So keep living.
Keep living for all you have always wanted to do, even if it hurts to wake up and accept the morning light. When the dawn arrives and you feel as if the very breath in you is hard to find, exhale and let it refill your lungs so your heart can beat to embrace the new day.
Keep living for all you have been waiting to do, even if it means you may have to do it alone now. When the hour arrives and you feel as if it felt forever to come, release your hold and let it help you to move onto the next chapter so your eyes can see the new miracles waiting for you.
