None of this would have been possible without you. Your support has sustained not only my work but also my family, helping us remain rooted on our land against powerful forces trying to erase us. For more than 29 months, the Palestinian Authority has been unable to pay our full salaries because Israel is withholding Palestinian funds, which exacerbates the hardships caused by Israeli restrictions, military checkpoints, raids, settler violence, the theft of our private lands, and the deliberate economic strangulation of our communities, as well as many other Israeli policies designed to force us to leave our homeland, Palestine.
In the face of these difficult conditions, your generosity has been nothing short of a lifeline. It has allowed us to survive against unbelievable odds and to continue resisting Israel’s disinformation and dehumanizing campaigns against us defenseless Palestinians with the power of our pen, which is mightier than their sword. For this, I am forever grateful.
As we step into 2026, let us remain united in the belief that truth still matters, that knowledge is a form of resistance, and that empathy can dismantle even the most entrenched systems of injustice.
May every soul weighed down by oppression one day breathe in freedom.
