This was taken near a waterfall somewhere in North Carolina. Alicia likes traveling, and for some reason sometimes she just gets cabin fever and needs to go out and explore. I am a bit different; I can stay home all day and be perfectly happy about it. In fact, I love my house. It is confortable, I like my bed, my shower, my toilet, my furniture, etc. Especially when I was away from home for long stretches of time. But part of a happy marriage is to live life to the fullest, so if Alicia wants to do something, then we generally get to do what mom wants - which turns out to be fun too.
This particular day was super cold, but it is one of the many adventures we take as a family. Alicia wanted me to take some photos at this place, because she knows I enjoy it. So, I did, and I will be posting some of those in the near term. One of the reasons why I do take my time posting photos is because I want to make sure I am erasing metadata that has information that is not for public consumption. For example, did you know that the photos in your cell phone have lots of additional information than just the picture? If you didn't know, now you know. Hence, why I take my sweet time getting photos posted. To be honest I have literally thousands of photos, and it does take a while to go through them.
But on te day for this photo, it was so fun to be with my girls, as it is always fun to go on a trip. Sammy loves these outings and adventures, especially when she gets to see places she has never been before. I will be posting a lot more images of us hanging out together. One thing you can probably have realized is that mom is a lot more tolerant of the cold than Sammy and I. Personally, I like the temperature to be a nice 63 degrees Fahrenheit... That's the sweet spot - for me.
