We wanted to let you know that Film Network Ireland is currently upgrading some core backend systems, including how subscriptions are processed behind the scenes.
Because of this work, you may experience temporary disruption to your Buy Me a Coffee subscription and in some cases subscriptions may be paused or stopped automatically. This is not something we want to happen but it is unfortunately part of the upgrade process.
If your subscription does stop, please do not feel any pressure to resubscribe immediately. When you are ready, we would be very grateful for your continued support by subscribing again once the system is fully reintroduced. We expect this to be available again over the weekend or early next week.
If you have recently subscribed or renewed, especially within the last few months, or if you are on an annual plan, please feel free to hold off resubscribing until you feel it makes sense to do so. We want to make it very clear that nobody should feel out of pocket as a result of these changes.
Your support to date has been incredible and genuinely helps Film Network Ireland cover core costs such as office space and day to day running, allowing us to keep building and supporting a growing filmmaking community. It is the reason we are able to continue connecting filmmakers, encouraging collaboration and helping great projects get made.
Subscriber benefits such as discounted or free tickets to FNI events will continue to be honoured and we have your membership email details on file so supporters will always be looked after.

Will my subscription be cancelled?
Some subscriptions may be paused or stopped automatically during the upgrade. This is unintentional but unavoidable while the changes are completed.
Do I need to resubscribe immediately?
No. Please resubscribe only when you feel comfortable doing so. There is no obligation to restart your subscription straight away.
I recently subscribed or renewed. What should I do?
If you subscribed or renewed recently, including annual plans, we recommend holding off resubscribing until you feel it makes sense. We do not want anyone paying twice.
Will I lose my supporter benefits?
No. Supporters will continue to be looked after, including benefits such as discounted or free tickets to FNI events. We have supporter email records on file.
What happens next?
We plan to reintroduce subscriptions over the weekend or early next week. When ready, you can resubscribe at that time.
