Haii! I'm Fivel, happy to see you around!

I have created this page because, well why not?

This month I have all the time in the world so I have chosen to use my free will to make a tool I felt like I needed, because I started collecting packages, testing scenes, characters, clothes, plugins and scripts until... I realized I had +1k packages in my AddonPackages folder and +2k archived in my external hard drive.

I have tried other tools but they seem to be slow, I think my hardware doesn't meet some of the requirements for VaM, I'm constantly wondering why do these tools load such huge amounts of packages at the same time or why they're so inconvenient to use? Like seriously these tools make me want to just stick to the way VaM handles them natively rather than let third party tools manage my files, all of them seem to be made for very different purposes, where's the compatibility? Symlinks? Only for Windows? Yup, if my plan is to abandon Windows soon or late, they aren't helping at all. TwT

So, this is when I present you my own library management tool: YAVAM!
The reason? I'm lazy, I hate windows file browsing method, I wanted to search through libraries from my disks but... "EW, recognizing files by creators and name? There isn't any way to view what's inside? I'm just gonna load them and hopefully remem- OH NO MY GAME IS SO LAGGY NOW - Ugh why does this package have many different versions?"

Ok, ok. Where do I wanna go with this~ you may ask?
I want to dedicate my time this month to work on YAVAM, next month I'll get back to work and take care of university, but it wouldn't hurt to try a leap like this, give my time to the VaM community and see where I land.
I want to create content worth using and pleasing to look at, if this goes well, It'd become possible for me to begin sharing content for VaM itself instead of just an external tool, I have many presets and scenes that I made using other creators content but I always ditch because I don't find them being worth of anything...
One of my goals is to be able to afford VR hardware some day, I do not pretend to make this platform my main source of income but, I guess it can help me a little to reach what seems unreachable for now; Not only for VaM but because I want to develop VR software, games and experiences as well, a dream that seems locked because the social class I belong to, apparently. (And yes, I currently am essentially a game developer, just working on a very low budget)

So... that's it! I had an idea, I had a vision, I have the time ᓚᘏᗢ
It's time to put myself to test! My very first experiment for this path is YAVAM, what's next? We will see, but I do want to tackle down creating plugins to improve VaM's interactivity with desktop, because that's all I have. :P
Other ideas rely on creating art, presets and scenes with it, because I love how usable VaM is for SFW content, but it's sad to think I cannot use it anywhere near friends or family because there's big boobies everywhere 😭

~I think that's all I had to say, I just wanted to let you know my purposes, what my tool is about and my plans for all of this, baibai~!
